MY EXPERIENCE OF THE NATIONAL CHILDREN'S CHOIR

There were three practices in different places every 3 months. We went to the Sacred Heart School to practice with other schools. We also had a practice in the Tullamore Court Hotel. The teachers picked out three pupils from the school to represent the school at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. I was so lucky as I was picked from Ballyboy. I went to Dublin in June and had a practice for an hour and then we got a chance to look around the Concert Hall with our parents. The concert started at four o'clock and I was quite tired, however, I was so excited to be at the National Concert Hall performing. I really enjoyed it and we got a good clap at the end. My mother was very proud of me. Even though I was really tired at the end of the day, I am looking forward to singing in the National Childrens Choir again this year even if I am not selected to go to the National Concert Hall.
